My name is Tania Gillespie, I am a registered nurse with 9+ years’ experience in Surgical nursing in both public and private hospitals along with training as an ear nurse, specialising in microsuctioning. I belong to the New Zealand Nurses Organisation and am also the Director of Clean Ears Christchurch.
We started this business as we feel there is a need in the community for cost effective ear cleaning. We felt this was also a great opportunity to improve education on cleaning ears.
We are committed to providing a professional friendly safe environment using ACC approved microsuction to gently remove ear wax, foreign bodies, and debris for both adults and teenagers as well as providing education on ear health and hygiene.

I’m Fiona Hampton and I’m a Registered Nurse with 14 years Practice Nursing in a semi rural Medical Centre. Ear hygiene was an integral part of care but because of new techniques, it’s become independent of this setting.
I was a Staff Nurse in Postnatal and NICU for 9 years when first graduating as a Registered Nurse.
I’ve been a RN Ear Nurse/Hygienist for 7 years working in several clinics. I thoroughly enjoy helping clients with clearing ear canals and ear health education.
